My Projects
Here are a few projects I've worked on recently. Want to see more? Email me.

Developed data-driven insights for the library, analyzing enrollment and major/minor trends to optimize material and journal purchasing. Used R, Python (Pandas, Matplotlib), and various statistical models.

Designed a brake monitoring system using CAD software. This mount holds a proximity sensor which takes advantage of a actuator push rod to sense when the brake is braking. Inductive sensors are able to pick up metalloids around them so I had to make the piece out of hard plastic. I worked with vendors to have the piece 3-D printed and had multiple prototypes. This greatly increased predictability and reduced downtime for the reversing mill. Previously the proximity switch broke periodically and was very unreliable.

Created PowerBI dashboards from SSMS to generate IEEE indices for reliability reports to improve efficiency in operations. In this project I worked with electrical engineers and data engineers to become more fimilar with the data in order to make this dashboard. This project saved the electrical engineer 3 weeks of gathering and summarizing data. This streamlined and automated the process in order to use time more efficently.

The app focused on wanting to help share the location and resources of animal shelters, food pantries, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, mental health centers, and community events as well as providing a volunteering service to help different organizations. The project aimed to create a website that would allow people to navigate and locate the resources that they needed, as well as give them the ability to help others in need. The IOS app that is Wabash specific and will allow for students to be able to volunteer and help out through the Montgomery County community.

Designed shims for reversing mill roll cylinder to allow for work roll stability which mitigates incorrect roll gauges and ensure quality with flat rolls. Sizes included .12, .24, .36, .48, .60. This allowed me to work with vendors and sort out complications within the project to ensure quality and satisfaction of maintenance personnel.
